settled in the new house (09.12. 2007)

Embarrassing, embarrassing, and shame on me . Since the introduction I have the time for the blog is no longer taken. It's a shame, at this time but went very much ...

I try and give a brief overview of the events since the last entry:

* 24.09. to 27.09. is devoted to the preparation for moving day on Friday 28.09. stood. Packing in Biel-Benken the goods and perform in the last Fehren own work (For example, waterproof slate) and it always good to move a couple of little boxes.

* 28.09. Moving day (or rather half-day) with the Siegel firm in Basel. The boys have worked quickly and with virtually no damage. Stressfreiste was our day in the week. The first Night was for blessing me with little sleep (nervousness as the newly appointed master of the house), Miriam has made good for their sleepless nights last week.

* 29.09. to 02.10. Cleaning marathon in Biel-Benken. Was exhausting and not very satisfactory (one wants to set up the new house ...) and have been properly effort. Thank you to my sister Corinne and Miri's parents for the plaster support!

* In the remaining weeks of vacation, of Miriam and me (. To 21.10), we are driven x-times in DIY (OBI, Coop ,...) and furniture stores (IKEA, Pfister, Interio, M-cocked hat) to us with the necessary things for the new house . Stock up We have also started to paint the basement and move the white in the OBI purchased Parador laminate (walnut-look). It simply needs the most ever more time than you plan in advance through. The cellar is on the right track ...

* On Friday, 05.10. We got our furnace yet delivered and installed. A great part, which fits very well into the house and meet the little pyromaniac in us can. Great investment!

* Since we are working again, we got more and more of a live - and work in and around the house to lie more often .... Where do they deal not so much time and energy (after work) to work with Keller.

Overall we are very pleased and proud with our beautiful house. It was worth it and result in an overall better quality of life greatly. The warranty work due to the decrease are progressing though, had all but certainly a whole lot can go ahead expeditiously (For example, it is the painter has not been here and the final settlement with Renggli has still not). This bothers us, but really not too much, because it first must be made either way and because we are second, the last payment to Renggli not long released until the pending items list is not processed.

We have already had a first case for building insurance: The storm last weekend of a chimney has "adopted" and was carried away by the wind - fortunately only on the empty sheep grazing next door.

Since today is the first day of my 4-week holiday is queued, I have now installed the supplied equipment (washing machine, Dryer and freezer attended). Seem to have great equipment, no wonder you are almost on the first use ;-)

addition of Renggli-floor service has done its first string: Loops and the first rites. It smelled very good after the oil and looks set to Floor think I also really great!

shame on me, the frequency of blog entries has been greatly reduced lately .. . Not that too little would be gone - on the contrary! Because we are pretty busy with moving, building inspection and the open day has never passed me, unfortunately - or I was always too groggy to even what to write.

So now in order. Last week, yet the recent work such as silicone joints, remaining doors (Schreiner was really at the last minute at work), balcony rust, door locks and the like have been done. On Thursday, 20.09. it was a great day: Building cleaning and house purchase in the evening together with our construction manager. The cleaning has been done excellently (from ISS), the list of deficiencies remained in the normal range.
On Saturday was the second major Tag: "Open House" - first from the sale of the company Abeil Renggli and then by ourselves for neighbors, relatives and friends. Both parts were a resounding success and a truly great and wonderful experience. In the morning and early afternoon about 65 Renggli Organizers have come look at our house. I was there about two-thirds of the time. I was allowed to take a lot of very positive feedback to our house opposite - that I was very pleased!

went from 15.00 we continued with our aperitif in the house. In addition to our family, friends, colleagues and friends are stopping by and practically all invited (future) neighbors, and have often even with a gift surprised. These have been really pleased with all my heart that such a launch as a "stranger" in a new village is really quite wonderful. Another (Civil) Week ... (16/09/2007)

is Another eventful week is over. Various artisan batches have completed their work. Thus the environment of the granite wall, rough grading and Kieskofferung has been successfully implemented (thank you, Mr. Rolli!). We also have water and electricity and plumbing fixtures are all installed. It continues with the final sprint in Fehren. The plumbing has already installed some of the bathroom fittings and furniture (mirror cabinet floor) - a toilet and a washstand had a shipping damage and must be replaced. On Thursday evening we have not let us take the offered Renggli of "gratitude" event to visit for all building owners in recent years. Place, the whole - how else could it be ;-) - in the scenic "rural" Luzernbiet near Sursee. More specifically in the "KKL Uffikon, where contemporary art of the allegedly known (we have this really not a reference!) Issued Lucerne artist Wetz and other artists. The leadership has even taken over artist Wetz. He is coming over more like a comedian, at best he would be very well suited as a motivational speaker. His stories and anecdotes were interesting, funny and entertaining. The subsequent food was very tasty: Grillade with a variation of flesh from Scottish Hochlandrind (Steak, Spiesschen, Wurst, Hamburger) aus biologischer Produktion und Salat. Zum Dessert sind Beeren offeriert worden.

Es war natürlich sehr nett, mit diversen Personen der Firma Renggli über unser aktuelles Projekt sprechen zu können. Unser Blog scheint in der ganzen Firma auf sehr viel Resonanz gestossen zu sein. Dieser wird angeblich von vielen Renggli-Mitarbeitern gelesen, bis hin zu Mitgliedern der Geschäftsleitung - das freut uns natürlich sehr. Auch gäbe es seither einen "Running Gag" bei den Projektleitern: Sie werden jetzt auch einen Blog eröffnen und jeweils Frust und Freude des Tages dokumentieren ;-)

Schön war sicherlich auch, wiedermal mit unserem Projektberater Thomas toast to Ernie. Unfortunately, our site manager Roland Bösch mouth was not at the event, with him we would like to drink a glass and thanked us for his good work. - Wednesday, 09.05. : garage door installation, ventilation, sanitary equipment start-installations, electricians

So it's really something going on up there! In two weeks, but must also be ready in all (at least inside, the environment can also take a bit longer).
